گیا اِیمان عشقے دے پاروں، ہو کر کافر رہیے ھُو گَھت زُنّار کُفر دا گَل وِچ، بُت خانے وِچ بہیے ھُو جس جا جانی نظر نہ آوے، اُوتھے سجدا مول نہ دَئیے ھُو جاں جاں جانی نظر نہ آوے، بَاھُوؒ کلمہ مول نہ کہیے ھُو |

ਗਿਆ ਈਮਾਨ ਇਸ਼ਕੇ ਦੇ ਪਾਰੋਂ, ਹੋ ਕਰ ਕਾਫ਼ਰ ਰਹੀਏ ਹੂ ਘੱਤ ਜ਼ੁਨਾਰ ਕੁਫ਼ਰ ਦਾ ਗਲ਼ ਵਿਚ, ਬੁੱਤਖ਼ਾਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੀਏ ਹੂ ਜਿਸ ਜਾ ਜਾਨੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ, ਉਥੇ ਸਜਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਨਾ ਦਈਏ ਹੂ ਜਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਜਾਨੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ, ਬਾਹੂ(ਰਹ) ਕਲਮਾ ਮੂਲ ਨਾ ਕਹੀਏ ਹੂ |

Giaa iman ishqe de paaron, ho kar kafir raheeye Hoo
Ghatt zunnaar kufr da gal wich, bottkhaane wich baheeye Hoo
Jis jaa Jaanee nazar na aave, othe sajdaa mool na daeeye Hoo
Jaan jaan Jaanee nazar na aave, Bahoo kalma mool na kaheeye Hoo

Explanation by Sultan ul Ashiqeen
Divine love is the highest status in faith. If faith is lost due to the love, better to be a pagan instead of giving up love because union with Allah is only attained with love. If one has to sit even in a temple for the sake of Divine union, one should never hesitate. Where the Essence is not beheld, one must neither prostrate nor recite shahada.
