Explanation by Sultan ul Ashiqeen
The goldsmith melts raw gold in a crucible and then alters it into many forms of jewellery giving it a lustrous look. Such should be the spiritual guide who burns the seeker in the kiln of ardent Divine love and moulds his spiritual being with Ism-e-Allah Zaat purifying it from the love of other than Allah. Old habits and wishes are altered, moulding the seeker as he desires. The perfect Fakir is the one who remembers and beholds the Beloved all the time.
