Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen is on the Foot-Step of Holy Prophet
Allah stationed Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman at the highest pedestal of best morals. Truly, all his attributes are the model and reflection of the beautiful attributes of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). His attributes and marvels in every way depict that he is certainly on Prophet Mohammad’s footsteps. For instance, veracity, clemency, patience, humility, endurance, perseverance, fulfilling the promise, respecting others, modesty, sagacity, magnanimity are all his attributes. Moreover, he is broad minded with dignity, courageous and has immense tolerance. His glance is synonymous with benevolence and blessing others is the reality of his morals. Furthermore, the word ‘compassion‘ does not fully describe his kind behaviour towards others. In short, his sacred entity is perfect embodiment of beauty, excellence and kindness.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen possesses a charismatic personality which attracts every pure person. In other words, his spiritual attention with all power automatically draws the seeker towards him. On getting closer to him, his great attributes capture the inward of a person. Thus, he never wants to remain away from the enlightened self of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen. Additionally, he always meets others smilingly and is the first one to greet. He always talks with everyone respectfully whether talking to a rich or a poor, child or an elder. Further, he always keeps his voice low, no one has ever heard him speaking in a loud or harsh tone.
Sultan ul Ashiqeen has a very observant and attentive personality. When someone talks to him, he listens to him attentively and answers after hearing the complete matter or question. In fact, he never ever cuts other’s words. If he does not appreciate somebody’s words, he silently let it go instead of responding which may hurt that person. On the other hand, out of humbleness, he remains silent on hearing his praise as well. At times, he response his praise with the phrase; “All praises belong to Allah Almighty.”
Compassion Towards Others
Guides His Disciples
It is also a fact that sadly not every disciple is true and sincere towards the spiritual guide. Even then if such a disciple seeks his help, he fulfills his wish ignoring his insincerity. He does not keep even his insincere disciples deprived of his kind attention. In fact, he never separates them from himself. Unless they do it themselves due to their imperfect inward and wrong perception about the spiritual guide.
Forgiving
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen forgives the mistakes of his disciples no matter how big they are and makes them learn from the mistakes. Moreover, hiding other’s faults is also one of his special attributes. In fact, he sagaciously makes the disciples aware of their shortcomings. This in turn, teaches them how to improve themselves inwardly as well as outwardly.
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen not only himself is kind and affectionate but also teaches the lesson of love and forgiveness to his disciples. As this builds harmony among them and they work unitedly for the organization. That is why all his disciples are like a closely knitted family.
Intelligence and Wisdom
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman is unprecedented in intelligence and wisdom. He is conversant not only in religious and inward knowledge but also in worldly and outward knowledge. Be it the knowledge of history of world or Islam, geography or science, medical, law or politics, etc. Thus, not only on mysticism, spirituality or Faqr, rather he has perfect command over every kind of knowledge.
It is a fact that the Fakirs are blessed with the inspirational knowledge descending upon the soul directly from Allah. Thus, making their enlightened self aware of knowledge of entire universe. However, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen has not only got the inspirational knowledge but also the exoteric knowledge gained from books and other sources. His literary work is the proof of his command over every kind of knowledge. When he talks about any topic, it seems as if his tongue is divulging pearls of wisdom. Thus, everyone gathers these pearls according to their own ability. The listeners are amazed at the vastness of his knowledge. Although he reveals only a drop from the ocean of his knowledge.

Hard Work and Dedication
An overview of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s life shows that his each and every moment is full of devotion and hard struggle. Let it be his life from the period of poverty spent in Depalpur till the period of affluence in Lahore. Or consider the period of search for the Divine Truth till the period of his excellent service to his Murshid. He worked hard not only as a seeker of Allah but also after he adorned the throne of Divine guidance. Moreover, his struggle was real while striving for the issuance of monthly magazine Sultan-ul-Faqr and to spread Faqr. Not only that but he also worked day and night for the establishment of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr. Indeed, he is still devoted in continuous struggle to spread the message of Faqr around the globe.
May Allah bless him with more and more courage, health and power to execute his remaining responsibilities. Also, may he successfully fulfil his mission to spread Faqr in the whole world as he did till now (Ameen).
Principle
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen follows the following principle;
اَلسَّعْیُ منِّیْ وَالْاتْمَامُ مِنَ اللّٰہِ
Meaning: My task is to make efforts, accomplishment comes from Allah.
He makes his efforts to the fullest that is why Allah blesses him to the fullest. Not only he works hard himself but also inculcates this attribute in his disciples. He persuades them to work with dedication and perseverance. His hard work becomes a source of inspiration for his disciples and keeps their spirits high.
Attribute of Perseverance
Another greatest attribute of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen is perseverance. Neither the hardships of life nor the opponent’s hostility and cunning tricks could stop him from achieving his goal. His focus and trust always remained upon Allah while his body and brain perpetually remained busy in work. He had ultimate trust upon Allah and confidence upon his hard work. Therefore, he paid no regard to the obstacles and opposition and kept on progressing towards his destination.
یقینِ محکم، عملِ پیہم، محبت فاتح عالم
جہادِ زندگانی میں ہیں یہ مردوں کی شمشیریںMeaning: The weapons of men of Allah to win the battle of life are strong faith and constant hard work. Moreover, it is the love which has the power to conquer the world.
Great Courage
ہر لحظہ ہے مومن کی نئی شان نئی آنگفتار میں کردار میں اللہ کی برہان
یہ راز کسی کو نہیں معلوم کہ مومن
قاری نظر آتا ہے حقیقت میں ہے قرآن
جس سے جگر لالہ میں ٹھنڈک ہو وہ شبنم
دریاؤں کے دِل جس سے دہل جائیں وہ طوفانMeaning: Every moment the glory of the Universal Divine Man manifests anew. Moreover, his words and morals are the incarnation of Allah’s words and morals. No one knows the secret that he appears to be the reciter of Quran. Rather, in fact, he is the Quran Itself. He is soft hearted and kind for his people like the dew is soothing for the flower. At the same time, he is powerful and mighty like the storm. Thus, can turn the ocean upside down and make it tremble with fear.
Generosity and Contentment
These are the distinguished attributes of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman. In fact, the height of his contentment is that he has no wish for himself. Rather, he is happy in whichever condition Allah keeps him. While the extremity of his generosity is that he has sacrificed his each and every possession in Allah’s way. After donating his entire material wealth for the cause of Allah, now he is distributing his spiritual treasures of Faqr. Whoever seeks this treasure sincerely and makes a little effort to gain it, is conferred with it infinitely by him. However, it is not for those who do not regard its worth.
خاکی و نوری نہاد ، بندۂ مولا صفات
ہر دوجہاں سے غنی ، اس کا دِل بے نیاز
Meaning: The real believer of Allah is made of soil but in reality, is all Divine light. He is the slave of Allah but possesses all His attributes. Indeed, independent of desires and the most generous in both worlds
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen's Attire
Strict Follower of Sharia
Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman strictly follows sharia. He neither likes nor allows mixing of male and female disciples. That is why, the male disciples cannot visit Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen house while the female disciples are not permitted in his khanqah. In this way, he has maintained the rules of sharia strictly. He has extreme respect for women and talks to them keeping his eyes lowered. Furthermore, he loves children and the kids are also naturally attracted towards him and remain anxious to see him. When he comes to the gathering, the kids try to draw near to him and remain engrossed in his vision. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen also blesses kids with love and affection.
Every Sunday, he grants his disciples the privilege to meet him. The male disciples can also meet him on Fridays at Sarwari Qadri khanqah. While, the female disciples meet him every Sunday at his home in the presence of his honourable wife. The female disciples cannot meet him alone. On Sunday, he first visits the khanqah to meet male disciples, on returning he graces the gathering of female disciples.
Indeed, as the moment of his arrival draws near, it seems as if time has paused. His disciples eagerly wait for his arrival standing respectfully in two rows at right and left of his path. He blesses his male disciples with the honour to kiss his hands. While the female disciples are not allowed to touch him in respect of sharia. Although he blesses them by lightly placing his hand on their covered heads. When his palm touches the hands or heads of the seekers, they sprinkle countless blessings upon them. The seekers try to avail this opportunity over and over again to gain beneficence from his auspicious presence.
