123. Lovers Salat
عاشق پڑھن نماز پَرم دِی، جیں وِچ حرف نہ کوئی ھُو
جیہا کیہا نیت نہ سکے، اُوتھے دردمنداں دِل ڈھوئی ھُو
اَکھیں نیر تے خون جگر دا، اُوتھے وُضو پاک کریوئی ھُو
جیبھ نہ ہلّے تے ہونٹ نہ پھڑکن، بَاھُوؒ خاص نمازی سوئی ھُ

ਜਿਹਾ ਕੇਹਾ ਨੀਤ ਨਾ ਸੱਕੇ, ਉਥੇ ਦਰਦਮੰਦਾਂ ਦਿਲ ਢੋਈ ਹੂ
ਅਖੀਂ ਨੀਰ ਤੇ ਖ਼ੂਨ ਜਿਗਰ ਦਾ, ਉਥੇ ਵੁਜ਼ੂ ਪਾਕ ਕੀਰਓਈ ਹੂ
ਜੀਭ ਨਾ ਹਿੱਲੇ ਤੇ ਹੋਂਠ ਨਾ ਫੜਕਣ, ਬਾਹੂ(ਰਹ) ਖ਼ਾਸ ਨਮਾਜ਼ੀ ਸੋਈ ਹੂ

Not everyone can offer but the pain-stricken lovers
Tears and toils drain blood. Ablution purified
Tongue won’t move, lips won’t flutter – O Bahoo, only the chosen offer this salat
Explanation by Sultan ul Ashiqeen
This quatrain discusses the hidden salat performed being engrossed in Ism-e-Allah Zaat. The lovers of Allah offer the salat with no words. Even the lips and tongue do not move. The condition for this salat is that the lovers must purify themselves by the ablution of tears, sobs and most arduous endeavours. This salat cannot be offered by everyone, it is only specific to the pain-stricken and the Divine lovers.
