عاشق نیک صلاحیں لگدے، تاں کیوں اُجاڑدے گھر نوں ھُو
بال مُواتا بِرہوں والا، نہ لاندے جان جگر نوں ھُو
جَان جَہان سَب بُھل گیونیں، پئی لوٹی ہوش صبر نوں ھُو
میں قربان تنہاں توں بَاھُوؒ، جنہاں خون بخشیا دلبر نوں ھُو

ਆਸ਼ਕ ਨੇਕ ਸਲਾਹੀਂ ਲਗਦੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਉਜਾੜਦੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੂ
ਬਾਲ ਮਵਾਤਾ ਬਿਰਹੋਂ ਵਾਲਾ, ਨਾ ਲਾਂਦੇ ਜਾਨ ਜਿਗਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੂ
ਜਾਨ ਜਹਾਨ ਸਬ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਇਓਨੇਂ, ਪਈ ਲੁੱਟੀ ਹੋਸ਼ ਸਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੂ
ਮੈਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਤਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹੂ(ਰਹ), ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖ਼ੂਨ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਆ ਦਿਲਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੂ

Aashiq nek salaaheen lagde, taan kioon ujaarrde ghar noon Hoo
Baal movaataa birhoon waalaa, na laande jaan jigar noon Hoo
Jaan jahaan sab bhull gionen, paee lottee hosh sabar noon Hoo
Main qurbaan tinhaan tun Bahoo, jinhaan khoon bakhshia dilbar noon Hoo

Wise counsel unheeded, lovers’ homes in shambles
Unmorred was wisdom only to burn in separation’s passionate flames
Entranced lovers forgot their desires and worldly din, their conscious and patience slipping away
May I sacrifice on them, O Bahoo, who pardoned beloved their blood-their life
Explanation by Sultan ul Ashiqeen
Had the Divine lovers followed the advice of common people, they would never have sacrificed their household in the way of Allah, nor would they have burned their inwards with the flame of love. Ever since they have tasted the pleasure of beholding Allah, they have lost their senses. May I sacrifice my life for the ones who got beheaded in Divine love and did not demand anything in return.
