Establishment of Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr

The call to embrace Faqr has existed in various forms since the time of the Holy Prophet. In our modern age, an organization was needed that could cater to the demands of this era and the mission of this call. Therefore, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman laid the foundation for Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr on Friday, 23rd October 2009 (3rd Dhul al-Qadah 1430 H), the day of death anniversary of his spiritual guide, Sultan-ul-Faqr VI.

Mission

Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen established Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr with the primary goal of disseminating the message of Faqr in a more structured manner, channeling it through a proper conduit. Our mission is to strive for the rekindling of a profound spiritual bond between Allah and Muslims. The deterioration of these spiritual connections has led to the decline of Muslims, despite being part of the finest umma. Through the teachings of Faqr, our aspiration is to guide Muslims towards a better path, ensuring that their physical devotions find acceptance in the divine court of Allah.

Who do we belong?

Tehreek Dawat-e-Faqr is a registered organization, completely non-political, non-governmental and non-sectarian. We belong to the Sarwari Qadri order. Therefore, we promote the school of thought of our Sufi Saints, al-Ghawth al-Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani and Sultan Bahoo.
