ونجن سر تے فرض ہے مینوں، قول قَالُوْا بَلٰی دا کرکے ھُو لوک جانے متفکر ہوئیاں، وِچ وحدت دے وڑ کے ھُو شَوہ دیاں ماراں شَوہ وَنج لیساں، عشق دا تُلَّہ دَھرکے ھُو جیوندیاں شَوہ کسے نہ پایا بَاھُوؒ، جیں لدھا تیں مر کے ھُو |

ਵੰਜਣ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਹੈ ਮੈਨੂੰ, ਕੌਲ ਕਾਲੂ ਬਲਾ ਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹੂ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਣੇ ਮੁਤਫ਼ੱਕਰ ਹੋਈਆਂ, ਵਿਚ ਵਹਦਤ ਦੇ ਵੜ ਕੇ ਹੂ ਸ਼ੋਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾਰਾਂ ਸ਼ੋਹ ਵੰਜ ਲੈਸਾਂ, ਇਸ਼ਕ ਦਾ ਤੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਧਰ ਕੇ ਹੂ ਜੀਊਂਦਿਆਂ ਸ਼ੋਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਬਾਹੂ(ਰਹ), ਜੇਂ ਲੱਧਾ ਤੈਂ ਮਰ ਕੇ ਹੂ |

Vanjan sir te farz hai mainu, qaul Qaalu Balaa da kar ke Hoo Lok jaane mutfakkar hoeeaan, wich Wahdat de varr ke Hoo Shauh diyaan maaraan Shauh vanj laisaan, ishq da tullaa dhar ke Hoo Jiondiaan Shauh kise na paaiaa Bahoo, jain laddhaa teyn mar ke Hoo |

Explanation by Sultan ul Ashiqeen
Allah asked on the day of Divine covenant, “Am I not your Lord?” All the souls replied in yes. Now it is obligatory to remain steadfast upon this promise. To fulfil my promise, I have made Divine love my core and strength and absorbed myself in the Oneness. People are surprised and worried to see my state. I have complete faith in Divine love that it would take me to the depth of Oneness. Union with Allah cannot be achieved in this life without giving up everything and annihilating oneself i.e. death before dying.
